KT 420DH is a new concept tapping center designed to dramatically improve productivity by using two spindles at the same time, away from the concept of machining using one spindle, which is a feature of conventional tapping centers.

 
Basic Structure

KT 420DH is designed with separate head structure of spindle 1, spindle 2 and Z-axis 1 and Z-axis 2, so that it is optimized to maintain the same accuracy of workpieces as compared with a single head structure consisting of one Z-axis. In addition, tool offset of spindle 1, spindle 2 and coordinate offset of Z-axis 1 and Z-axis 2 can be individually compensated for easier setup.

 

High Performance Dual Spindle

Spindle is designed with high tension spring and coolant inflow prevention structure, and it has excellent durability and enables precise cutting. Wide range of spindle speed specifications enable a variety of machining applications from heavy duty to high speed precision machining.

 

Convenient Operability

KT 420DH is equipped with Siemens Sinumerik 828D optimized by Komatech control tech. The rotary switch and on / off button are added for each function to maximize the convenience of the operator. Functions often used repeatedly in mass production are specially placed in easy-to-use location, making it easy for beginners to work on, maximizing convenience.

 

Extendable top sapce(Opt.)

It is designed to extend Y-axis length as necessary so that gantry loader etc. can easily enter into equipment when apply large workpiece and automation construction.
